Baspani Health Post and Birthing Center
Rendered uninhabitable by the 2015 earthquake, the Baspani Health Post and Birthing Center (HPBC,) with a staff of six people, had been temporarily housed in two small rooms in the local school until Fall 2019 when the new building was completed.
The new health post has four rooms, a storeroom and a bathroom. Two toilets are housed in a detached structure. The HPBC serves approximately 2125 people in the area.
The clinic was named in honor of Shirley Keidan Raymond, whose greatest joy was being a mother.
