The rebar and cement are trucked, then carried into the villages by humans or pack animals, each leg of the journey taking multiple days. The lumber is from local forests. Trees are felled and then cut up onsite. The lumber is then walked into the villages. All the stone materials are locally sourced. Rocks are broken up to each size by hand. Foundations are also dug by hand.
