We are very excited to announce that we are going to be partnering with Beaumont Health Systems and Summer in the City at our August 26th event held at the Birmingham Bike Festival in Birmingham MI: Miles4Miles!!

We recently had the great opportunity to witness first hand what Beaumont Health Systems does for children that go through their rehab program. Some of the children are given custom-fit bikes, which can cost up to $3,500 each, have special seats, pedals and handle bars. The bikes are not covered by insurance, so many families can’t afford them. At Bike Day, the bikes are given as gifts to children who are recommended by their physical therapist, occupational therapist or doctor. We are also accepting the donation of bikes and helmets at the Birmingham Bike Festival. Summer in the City will then handle the distribution of the bikes to kids in the City of Detroit. Again we thank all of you for your support and look forward to seeing you soon!
