DAPCEP/Promise Schools

Half the funds raised at Over The Edge 2015/2016 went to education in the Detroit area. In 2015 D2N supported Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP), a nonprofit organization that provides historically underserved youth with innovative educational programming in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math.)

In 2016 funds went to Promise Schools (formerly American Promise Schools,) whose goal is to ensure all children, regardless of circumstance, race, or socioeconomic status, can achieve their potential. They provide access to a quality college-prep education so that students have the skills to pursue whatever path they may choose.
