Sapteshwor Health Post and Birthing Center

Built in memory of Judi Schram, construction started on the Sapteshwor Health Post and Birthing Center in fall 2017; the structure was completed in the fall of 2018. The 2015 earthquake damaged the previous health post, rendering it unsafe. Land for the new health post was donated by four residents of Sapteshwor and the community contributed 20% of the cost.

The health post has full team of six staff including a senior health official, a health assistant, an auxillary health worker, a skilled birthing attendant, an auxiliary nurse mid-wife and an office assistant.
